Technical Test Engineer, Services Australia | October 2021 – PRESENT

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the CCCPS, Test Services Team’s testers by maintaining the Self Service X (SSX) web based systems framework and executable assets including automated tests, performance tests, data creation and utility scripts
- Lead Automation/DevOps engineer maintaining extensive Gitlab framework assets, Docker runners and Openshift website host environment
- Improving automated test case quality through refactoring and stability measures
- Generating the detailed historical test analytics information at the feature and step level
- Providing test automation leadership and coaching
- Producing the monthly Automation Team roadmap for Directors
Achievements:
- 6-month secondment to the Child Support technical team to assist with the Windows Server 2003 migration project – migration of critical infrastructure (web portals, authentication infrastructure, middleware components etc) to a Windows Server 2022 environment
- Key enhancements of SAP Transport Change notification pipeline script – new change window, new CI/CD pipeline with smoke test results email, and the ability to re-run only testing stages
